NCAA Announces Updated Schedule for Friday's Competition
Day three of the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships has been hampered by severe weather delays for much of the day and, accordingly, the NCAA has released an updated schedule for Friday's competition.
The running events, which were originally scheduled to commence at 7:05 p.m. EST, will now begin – according to schedule – at 8:10 p.m. EST. The field events are slated to begin at 5:15 p.m. EST with the women's triple jump.
The scheduled television coverage by CBS College Sports will now take place from 8-11 p.m. EST this evening on the network.
