CAREER:
Made 11 appearances as a true freshman on the defensive line, but
switched back to the offensive line during the spring of 2009.
2008: Played in 11 games during his true
freshman campaign, securing one start at defensive tackle against
Kentucky…Recorded seven tackles, two solo and five assisted, 1.5 sacks and
tackles for loss…Graded out a Champion for his work on the special teams’ unit
that blocked a Miami punt and led to a Florida safety…Recorded his first career
sack at Arkansas…Made his first start as a Gator against Kentucky on
Homecoming…Rallied for a half of a quarterback sack against The Citadel…Was
sidelined for the final three games of the season after a leg injury

allow a sack his junior season en route to Class 4A all-state first-team
honors…On the defensive side, registered 97 tackles (27 for loss), eight sacks,
forced four fumbles and recovered four…St. Petersburg Times First-Team

by Rivals.com and No. 11 overall nationally…No. 4 offensive tackle and
five-star prospect by Scout.com…Ranked in the ESPN 150…MVP of the Scout.com
