Samantha Scales

Samantha Scales is in her sixth season with the Gator baseball program as the Director of Baseball Operations and has made three-consecutive trips to the NCAA College World Series. She manages UF's team travel arrangements by organizing flights, bus trips and hotel accommodations, oversees the budget and assists all members of the coaching staff in their day-to-day tasks and recruiting paperwork.
Scales' other responsibilities include serving as a game manager, coordinating maintenance within the $13-million-dollar facility, as well as hiring and managing the ushers for home games at McKethan Stadium. In addition, she is involved with everything related to the Gator baseball camps which are held several times per year and helps with the operations department during Gator football games at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
An Orlando, Fla., native and a 2004 graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in sport management, Scales also earned a master's degree in sport management from UF in 2007. She previously worked for two years in the operations department of the University Athletic Association and has experience with all of the Gators' varsity sports in numerous capacities. Scales is engaged to Daniel Harris and the couple is planning their wedding.
